All business conducted by Office Oracle is subject to the signing of an agreement adhering to the following conditions:
Office Oracle is happy to accept assignments from both the UK and abroad provided that its terms and conditions are accepted and an agreement for any work is signed.
Written quotations are provided prior to any work commencing. The signed quotation form constitutes the client’s agreement with Office Oracle’s full terms and conditions.
Stationery and operational costs (if applicable) would be negotiated additionally and billed at each month end.
Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit of 25% is required on all assignments with a quotation value of over £100 prior to any work commencing.
Retainer payments must be received prior to any work on assignments being carried out. Any unused hours at the end of a retainer payment period cannot be refunded but may be carried over to the following month.
The client is ultimately responsible for final proofreading of any documents completed. Any errors should be notified within 5 working days and will be corrected and returned free of charge.
All completed work will be sent with a final invoice which must be settled within 28 days.
Payments must be received in UK pounds sterling. Payments can be made by cheque or by bank transfer payment by arrangement. Cash payments are accepted for assignments in the local area only provided they are delivered either in person or by postal special delivery.
Archives of both hard and digital copy files will be kept on file for a period of one year. All work is backed up externally but is stored in accordance with current Data Protection legislation.
Office Oracle maintains up-to-date virus definitions and all incoming mail and any attachments will be scanned. Any attachments that appear unsafe will not be opened.
